I’ve always been fascinated by the idea, true or not, of the Rat King. Considered a bad omen, it seems to present a warning from biology which becomes more relevant every day. This is my tribute to the phenomenon, and that warning.
The central image of the entwined rats also became a screenprinted shirt and handkerchief.
